Good Morning to everyone present here – respected Principal, teachers, and my dear friends.

Today, I feel truly honored and proud to stand before you to speak on this very special occasion – our Independence Day.

As we all know, 15th August is not just a date on the calendar. It is a day that reminds us of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters to free our country from British rule. Great leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Subhas Chandra Bose, Bhagat Singh, Rani Laxmi Bai, Sardar Patel, and many others fought with courage and gave us the precious gift of freedom.

On this day in 1947, India became a free nation. We were finally free to live in a country that we could call our own – where we could speak our own language, celebrate our culture, and walk with our heads held high.

Independence Day is also a reminder of our duties as citizens. Today, we are free, but with freedom comes responsibility. We must work hard, be honest, help others, and contribute to the progress of our country.

India is a land of unity in diversity. People of different religions, languages, and cultures live together peacefully. This is our strength, and we must protect it.

Let us promise today to keep our India clean, green, educated, and strong. Let us respect our soldiers, our teachers, and our elders. Let us make our country proud with our actions.

In the end, I would like to say:

"Jai Hind, Jai Bharat!"

"Vande Mataram!"

Thank you and wish you all a Happy Independence Day!
